Having an introduction that gives thanks to the odious Disco ‘Tute for your book’s creation is probably not a good sign for any rational reader. Yet here I am, on the verge of the abyss and ready to plunge. Let’s do this.

Chapter 1

We start out with a rambling on about “the Hunter”, who rushes around and hides a murdered logger. This is either some kind of attempt at building suspense or a jab at environmentalists, who Peretti undoubtedly believes are a mass of murdering eco-terrorists. While browsing a local general store on my run through town after work today, I came across a title in the bargain book bin (AKA the “We’ll take even a dollar, just rid us of it and let us never speak of this again” bin); a familiar title, one I’d heard of before but never gotten around to reading myself. A title that casts a dark shadow. A title that is either so bad it’s hilarious or so bad it’s horrible, depending on who you ask. What is this title I must see with my own eyes? read more…

Well, I’ve been neglecting both of my blogs lately, so I figured it’s time to fix that! Today, we’ll be overviewing alternative evolution in spec-evo fiction. So…here I am, about to discuss speculative evolutionary fiction of the future at a glance. Oh, by the way, I’m Rappy.
